Weed.de is the information portal where patients can find information about doctors and medical cannabis products available in dispensaries. You can find the doctor you trust on our site who can help you with your request. Already have a prescription?Find a pharmacy.

Finding a doctor

Find a doctor near you who is experienced and knowledgeable in prescribing medical cannabis. You can filter your search by location, name and many more. You can also read reviews from other patients who have visited the doctor before.

Our service

At Weed.de, we're committed to helping patients connect with qualified medical cannabis doctors effortlessly. By verifying registered doctors, we provide patients with accurate information about their practice. With our interactive search functionality, users can easily locate and filter doctors by location and more, ensuring a seamless and trustworthy experience.

The prescription

Established doctors can prescribe medical cannabis on a BtM prescription (except dentists). This is intended to improve care for patients with serious illnesses. Medical cannabis can be prescribed on prescription. The costs can either be payed by the patient or covered by the health insurance company after an application has been submitted.

Configurator

Intended to support doctors in the process of prescribing a BtM prescription, that they can save, print or use it as a reference for the original prescription process. The configurator is available for Doctors and with doctor's permission, to patients as well.

Appropriate medication

At the beginning, the doctor has the option to choose between flowers or extracts.

Filter and choose product

Based on genetics and characteristics, your doctor will choose the needed and available product from the list.

Quantity, dosage and form

The required quantity, dosage as well as the form of administration are determined and noted in the prescription.

Print or use it as reference

Wether you print it, and use it during a consultation or refer to it when writing the original prescription. Use it with your terms.

FAQ

What happens with my data from the reservation guide?

If you’ve completed the reservation guide without being logged in as a user, your data will be automatically deleted from our database as soon as the pharmacy marks your reservation closed. If you’re using our website as a logged in user, your reservation is saved in your dashboard and you can choose to keep or delete the data with immediate effect!

Do I need an original prescription from a doctor?

Yes, an original prescription from a licensed doctor or physician is required in every case.

Who provides the medicine? The pharmacy or Weed.de?

Weed.de is only acting as a platform operator and is not itself a contractual partner for the delivery of any products. A purchase contract for a drug may only be concluded between the respective pharmacy and the patient after pharmaceutical verification of the order by the pharmacy.

How is the medicine delivered?

The dispatch of drugs (including narcotics) is possible in two ways: either for a pharmacy with a mail order license (Versandhandelserlaubnis) according to Section 11a ApoG or for pharmacies by way of courier service according to Section 17 para. 2 sent. 1 Pharmacy Operations Regulation (Apothekenbetriebsordnung, “ApBetrO”).
